The Unigas, one of the leading distributors of LPG gas in Bangladesh, has received the best stall holder award from South Asia LPG Summit 2019. The two-day event was ended on Monday at the International Convention City at Bashundhara Residential Area in Dhaka. The distributor said it is hopeful of keeping up the momentum for ensuring sustainable energy efficient future for Bangladesh, said a press release. More than 80 local and international firms showcased latest LPG technologies and provided information at the summit joined by over 200 foreign representatives. The participants also got idea about solutions to LPG-related matters. Earlier on Sunday, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid inaugurated the event at the venue. FBCCI President Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, FBCCI Senior Vice-President Sheikh Fazle Fahim and BPC Chairman Shamsur Rahman, among others, attended the opening session. The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources and the LPG Operators' Association of Bangladesh organised the event.
